FORMULATION:

• Ceftiofur Sodium

INDICATIONS:

• Poultry, ducks: For the treatment of pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, swollen head syndrome, septicemia in ducks.
• Pigs, calves, goats, sheep: For the treatment of pneumonia, pasteurellosis, mastitis, metritis, urogenital infections.

APPLICATION:

• The contents of the vial should be reconstituted with the enclosed solvent. After reconstitution, the solution contains 10 mg Ceftiofur per mL.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Poultry, ducks, piglets: 1 mL per 2 kg of body weight, once a day for 3-4 consecutive days, (IM) or (SC).
• Pigs, calves, goats, sheep: 1 mL per 4 -5 kg of body weight, once a day for 3-5 consecutive days (IM).

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• The reconstituted solution should be used within 24 hours. Discard any unused solution.

CONTRAINDICATION:

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Ceftiofur.
• Do not administer concurrently with Tetracyclines, Chloramphenicol and Macrolides.

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

• Meat: Calves: 1 day; Pigs: 2 days.
• Milk: 0 hours.

STORAGE:

• Store in a dry and cool place not exceeding 30⁰C. Keep away from direct sunlight.
